1. What does the Sign of the Fish say about Jesus?
Remember that the Sign of the Fish/ΙΧΘΥΣ is an acronym that states various things about Jesus --
Ι - Ιεσους - Jesus: the Son of God's name literally means, 'The LORD saves.' Though we are found to be under the curse of sin, the LORD is able to save us from the penalty we deserve.
Χ - Χριστος - (the) Christ: the title of Jesus. He was the only begotten Son of God. He was chosen before the foundation of the world to bear the sins of many. He is the Messiah -- literally, the One chosen by God to perform His work of salvation!
The next two are paired:
Θ - Θεου - of God
Υ - Υιος - Son
Simply, Jesus was the Son of God. He was in fully nature God, just as His Father.
Σ - Σοτερ - Savior - Though we deserve the wrath of God, we can be saved from that penalty through accepting the sacrifice of Jesus.

2. Where have you seen the 'Sign of the Fish' symbol?
You may see the Sign of the Fish on the back of minivans nowadays, or on businesses with owners who believe in Jesus. You may also see a negative rendition of this on the roads (e.g. a Darwin fish) or fish promoting various semi-political statements. However, in the very distant past, in times of serious persecution, Christians would often swipe in the dirt with their foot half of the Sign of the Fish, and if the other was a believer as well, he would complete the symbol. Many would have to be discreet about their beliefs for fear of their lives due to the persecution of Christians in that day and age. Christian persecution still exists around the world. A good site to see is Voice of the Martyrs Online at www.persecution.com. Pray for those who are persecuted for their beliefs -- not all are fond of Jesus or those who follow Him.

3. What does 'eternal life' mean?
Well, this one is pretty simple -- 'eternal life' is life that lasts forever. Isn't it wonderful how God has sent His Son into the world to save the world? He sent Jesus so that all who believe in Him will have life that lasts forever in Heaven. In Heaven, there will be no sin, no curse of sin or death, and God will wipe away all of our tears. One of the elements of God's Kingdom is joy! God promises an inheritance to those who believe in Him, and praise the LORD for this promise! Have you put your faith in Jesus? If not, why not do this now?
